The bus service costs $4 round-trip and riders will receive a coupon valid for $3 admission to the fair – a savings of $9 off the regular ticket price. Children ages 5 years and younger ride free with a paying adult.

This year, riders can download the free OC Bus app to their smart phone or other mobile device to easily buy electronic tickets in advance and redeem them on the bus, as well as to check bus routes and schedules. Download the app from the iTunes App Store or Google Play.

The express service begins with a kick-off celebration at 10:30 a.m. July 15 at the Village at Orange, 1500 E. Village Way in Orange. Attendees can sample free food and participate in face painting and other fun activities, including entering a raffle sponsored by KFROG-FM

The first 100 people in attendance can catch the 11:50 a.m. OC Fair Express for free from the event.
